The Brisbane Area Blood Bowl League is a tabletop Blood bowl league using the Competition Rules Pack (aka: Living Rule Book 6) as its base. BABBL is built around an Scheduled Structure, where each game in a teams line up is set out before them, maximising tension and excitement.
We gather about once a week to inflict as much carnage and mayhem as one game of football can allow. At the end of our league's 16 week season, one mighty team wins the honour of calling themselves the BABBL CHAMPIONS!
Here at BABBL online you will find links to all our teams & players (both past & present) and you can track the progress of your favourite squad right down to the smallest detail as they struggle, tooth & nail, for a chance to hoist the BABBL Bowl.

Out of the Pit VII The Redskulls have been crowned the champions of the RotGut Invitational VII and taken home the 'RutGut Silver Spoon' by scoring against the dastardly Knoxville Turkeys and avoiding the speed of the Ratbags and the bizzare Darkstar Slavers.
In a true scrum of proper "Mugby", it was the ghoul  Kalm McGhoul  who managed to blaze his way into the Turkeys' End Zone with the a ball clone and steal the win. The Silver Spoon that RotGut has pulled from the depths of Lustria has gifted the Dealite with a hand like a snow shovel! The Wildcard winning the match for the Fourthseason running goes to show that every game counts and no one can be counted out in the Dungeon.
The rookies have stepped up too and offered BABBL it's first tie for the 'Rising Star Award'. With 10 casualties a piece, the Blitzers Cleo and Synyster Graves both received the praise of the Fans and Press by taking home twin Rising Star Awards. They both obviously know what it takes to play in the BABBL. |

Season VII is a Go! Well, well, well...
Here we go again. Season VII has started and the divisions have been posted. This season looks to be a wacky afair with almost a quarter of the coaches playing stunty teams!
An nteresting pair to watch will be Wrequiem and FoxFire as they battle it out to become our 'Best New Coach' and take home some new minis.
Keep your eyes peeled for the schedule to start filling out on Sunday, with the first games being played on Tuesday!

Season 7 Prizes announced Season 7 of the BABBL (Brisbane Area Bloodbowl League) is due to kick off in just a weeks time, with Registration closing 9th of April.
Thanks to support from Impact! Miniatures, 'Da Management' of the BABBL are pleased to announce the following prizes will be up for grabs in Season 7 of the BABBL.
BABBL Cup winner:
Basing Pack (2 x Slaters Numbers, 16 Base Weights and Felt), &
a Leviathan (Sarcos Croc Big Guy)
Dungeonbowl Winner: (mid season invitational) Gets followed out of the labryinth by a resident Minotaur
Divisional Winners: At the conclusion of the 12 game regular season the #1 coach from each division wins one of the following:
- Salt Water Crocs
- Gaspez Bull Centaurs
- Giant Wrat
Also as per previous seasons the winner of the
Spud Pennant: (lowest league points) gets a new set of Impact dice, which will hopefully produce some better luck for them.
And finally for the just announced New Coaches award, we have a Baby Croc Pack to go to the winner of that award.
You got to be in it to win it. We got a particularly big league order together for Impact this season, and the result is a big prize pool as you can see.
We would love to have as many coaches and more as we did last season. So if you're an old hand, or a complete newb to Bloodbowl drop us a line. We love see new coaches in the league, everyone of every skill level are welcome. And as you can see we even have a prize for the best new coach to the BABBL. (Come on you don't want to leave it a two horse race do you?) |

Season 7 is almost here Season 7 will be getting under way very soon, due to kick off on the 13th of April.
Important dates for the registaration of your team are as follows:
1st April - end of early registration. Get your team nominated over at Ausbowl by the 1st of April, and not only will you be securing your spot in the league, but you will receive 50k to spend on a bounty on the player of your choice.
9th April - end of registration. We will be closing off the season on the 9th. Get your nomination in by then.
11th April - Release of the play schedule.
13th April - Season 7 Kick Off. Game on Mole! |
