After a mediocre start to a season things seem to be looking up for the rookie big guys. A hard lesson was learnt from the early season of just how important it was to choose your opponents wisely. The decsion to play both div a top guns the THUNDERHAWKS and the GOON SQUAD respectively wasnt the wisest of moves if a playoff birth was wanted.
The BABBL's all time greatest killing team has now started the late season on fire with a 4 game non losing streak, a draw with ccc, a win vs. the blades, a win vs the pylons and the latest win vs. the smashin bashas. The confidence the big fellas gained from thier dominant performance against the blades in which a new record was set for 5 kills in a single game has boosted the teams morale enabling them to produce some unbelievable plays.
Randall graves has continued to show just why he is a champion player in all aspects. Not only is he the airheads top td scorer with 7 but he is also the leagues top scoring big guy. When he isnt boasting his td scoring abilities he is causing havok in the casualty tables causing 10 casualties, 7 of which where kills. This makes his season 4's current top killer and the leagues all time 3rd highest killer, all this after just 12 games.
The run to the finals is still a cloudy and unpredictable one with so many teams still in the hunt. With 4 games remaining the airheads playoff hopes are starting to look more promising. With the remaining games to be played against the H.O.P, the Iron Wolves, devils crypt deadites and the grudge match between the ccc!!!! Who knows...... lets hope the big guys make it to cause some headaches for the babbls star players!!!!

casualty fest 2k9!!
Round nine saw the ever improving airheads take the pitch against their long standing rivals. CCC. After a decent kick from the chaos beasts star ogre Randall Graves swooped in and picked it up showing off his newly aquired agilty increase. In typical ogre fashion the big fella marched it up the wide zone with coverage from team mate Chazz Darvey. 8 turns later And Randall crossed for his second career td.
The L.O.S was an absolute slober knocker with both teams trading blows resulting in some devastating results. New recruit ogre Brutus Beefcake kick started his casualty counter by causing a double on some blockless goats. The real highight of the game was Randy Savages complete dominance over the carnies, causing a total of 4 casuaties.
Afer a well devised scramble up the middle which was assisted by the imcompetance of countless failed ogre bonehead rolls the carnies leveled it at 1-1 with 2 turns remaining. After the kick of the lone snotling on the field Blanket rterieved the ball and hid within the walls of 5 ogres. Afer a perfect throw team mate by star Randall Graves the little fella scattered backwards 3 squares and miraculoulsy landed. Unfortunately he landed 1 square short and even with a double go for it it still wasnt enough.
The airheads settled for a much deserved draw after a game containing 14 casualtiesin total. The Airheads managed another 2 kills taking the teams total to a season 4 league high of 11. Coach Deano had this to say " we played well but we would like to thank the dungeon the most for helping out by making claw boy and the tickler to miss the match. If those two douches were off the injury list then it surely would of caused some problems on the line. We have been training hard on our offence in the week off but its really not that important, we just wanna finish up with the most kills in the league. A big statement with such vicious teams such as the goons, circus and new comers hammer and tongs in the mix but im confident we can pull it off"

Air heads more like Bone heads!!
A round seven clash against the thus far stagnant khornate kolossus Didnt exactly go as planned. The game wa filled with failed dodges, pickups, blocks and most of all bonehead rolls. No matter what play coach Deano sent out with team captain Chazz Darvey It seemed to fail in one way or another. The ussual brand of smash mouth bloodbowl which the Airheads have been renownd for just wasnt on show today.
The 300 difference in team ratings saw the chaos outfit take 2 babes and 2 apoths, this wasnt a suprise as the Airheads are thus far the most killingest team in the league. Coach Deano says" the boys were to confident at their complete dominant performance over the blades last start and they just turned up today with the expectation of causing another white wash on the casualty chart.
The final game for the Airheads in the early season is against the highly popular and successful Thunderhawks coached by Devils Reject. This is the second game this season where the Airheads have played up a division against on of the most seasoned teams in the league. This will undoubtably result in another loss for the big guys but hopefully with the Licra armour sported by the hawks maybe we will keep on killin em. The Airheads star snotling with the strongest air in the league is hoping that his team mates dont tear Ron Burgundy a new one before he gets a chance to get the all stars autograph!!

biff shatters more than jaws!!
In what has been a steady start for the rookie ogres in season 4 many possitives have resulted. A first round 1-1 draw against the hard hitting ccc"s was followed by a narrow 2-1 loss. The ogres played a tough brand of bloodbowl producing some devistating muscle on the line killing two of the ccc's recently hired journey men.
The third outting saw the airheads take on the defensive powerhouse of the league the bucs. In a total defensive dominant game resulting in a hard fought 0-0 draw The ogres lead by team leader Chazz Darvey managed to perminently niggle two of the bucs starting beastmen.
Game four was against grimjaw and his smashin bashas. In a refreshing change from chaos the ogres took the field with renewed vigour throwwing a snotling on the second turn for an assy td. The rest of the game invoed smashing the bashas until there was only a single orc on the field allowing token black to march the entire length of the field for a much deserved td.
With the newly aquired Tag of being the most "killiest" team in babbl thus far the airheads felt they would challange one of the most highly regarded casualty inflicting teams. The goons!!! In what some would call suicide coach deano says "its just balls!!!" we got balls!! The game may have resulted in a 2-0 loss but the airheads put up a valient effort and were ever threatening especially with the hired skills of bloodbowl legend morg n thorg. Biff Shatterjaw done just that. Injuring every snotling on the roster and 2 ogres to boot. Can anyone take out the most annoying player in the league Biff??? My opinion is no!!! Hate him if you must but that blitzer is just plain deadly.
A rematch is surely on the cards but this time the airheads might wait until they are more developed and closer in team ratings. Thus far the airheads have killed 5 players in as many matches. It is our goal to kill as many players as possible and if that means giving up the win so be it. Look out the khornate collosus ur next!!!!!
