The Thunderhawks have suffered their first loss of the season to the so called "Red" Skulls. Ron Burgundy had this to say after the game.
"HA HA, well I expected a lot more from those guys. I mean they have some pretty famous guys like Wight Knight who couldnt even take a little tap on the ground before keeling over and giving up. Thats the way I see the whole season going for the "PINK" Skulls. They will just roll over and give up. Enough about those guys! How good were those passes I threw? Sometimes I actually blow myself away. Its like, I know im great, but sometimes I forget how absolutely great I am."

Coincidence, not likely
With the new season lurking, there is also another massive event brewing. This being the return of everybodys favourite blood bowl player and HALL OF FAMER Ron Burgundy.
With much needed rest and relaxation, The Thunderhawks are looking lively again with Ron Burgundy at the helm commanding the skilled and agile elven players around the pitch and into the endzone.
The pressure from Ron Burgundy's "guns" are already being felt by the other teams with bounties already mounting on the god-like head of the superstar.
The famous #7 is returning in the BABBL's season #7, a coincidence, not likely. Fate.

Hawks to rest ravaged stars
Thunderhawks management has confirmed they will be resting the team for season 5 after a brutal and punishing finals series.
The Thunderhawks went down 2 - 1 to the Gladiators in a tight and ferocious encounter to end the Hawks finals series.
Star Hawks player and all round great guy Ron Burgundy wont be having a rest in season 5 as he will be working as a reporter for the new team "The Uprising".
"The Uprising has offered me a substantial amount of gold and a few little extras to get me out of the news room and into the feild reporting for them, so im pretty happy about the whole thing. A change of pace it sure is! No more running around making a mockery of the other teams on the feild and signing their jerseys while im trying to fix my hair after the play. It also gives me a chance to talk to the players off the feild, young wannabes like Biff Shatterjaws, who just need a bit of a steer in the right direction and maybe he will start to play some good football. Its that kind of difference I look forward to making".
So Thunderhawks fans, looks like the Hawks arent returning but you will be hearing from God aaa ahem I mean Ron Burgundy, regularly.

Burgundy claims Top Thrower in BABBL
Today is a great day for The Thunderhawks as star QB and all round great looking person Ron Burgundy has been named the Top Thrower in all of BABBL.
It has only taken him 29 games to take the crown of Top Thrower off his arch nemises Roland Deschain, who took 44 games to reach the same completions.
As a result The Thunderhawks team management and Head Coach Hanz Frankburg have decided to honour Ron Burgundy by replacing the team emblem with one which has a slight resemlance to that of the wickedly handsome Ron Burgundy.
Ron had this to say at the unveiling of the new emblem. "Oh my! Well that, that is a work of art. Ha Haa, I look GOOOOOD!!! I mean reeeaally GOOOOD!!!"
