The Roosters have mixed red, white and blue and come up with a rather fetching shade of purple. After entering the top division to take on the Div A leaders the Chooks have fought onward to a 7-0-0 record. Downing first the Div A leading Munster Muckrakers and then the Div A podium sitting Ra Sart coached Ra's Rambones. This puts them is a strong position to reach the RotGut Silver Spoon finals which was last year won by their cousins from the Mt Uncoutha Braves.
Coach Razwel of the Roosters said "I just can't stand to see a lack of symmetry so we had to put another loss on each of those Div A teams" Coaches are a strange bunch and the former Pact coach also had this to say, "I want ot see a mutation on the Roster, these boys are pretty, way too pretty, a set of claws would be nice for Gracilis or just getting some dark magic into Canary would be just the thing to get this team to the coveted 11 game winning streaks that comes with being a BABBL champ."
Next game is against the Sin Bin Pylons, although not widely tipped to cause the Roosters trouble; the Elf Juggernauts are going on the pitch with only 10 players after resting a couple of ailing linemen. Time will tell if Coach Borzag can upset the Roosters apple cart.

Steelers Bought Out
The Treesburg Steelers are no more, after a big money offer for all of their players from a rival consortium.
A press release from the new Treesburg Roosters offices states. "We are happy to announce that the Roosters franchise is now part of BABBL. In coming games we plan to take our brand and promote it heavily to gain new fans and make a push for the finals"
Interest was reportedly garnered after the massive BABBL record that the talented "Roosters" players amassed against the Skycastle Smashers on Sunday. Coach Razwel is very happy with the deal and hence forth will attend games wearing the new team colours with pride.

Steelers Smoke the Smashers
The day was perfect for the bloodbowl at Steeler Stadium. The Elf tights were full and the boys were looking fantastic with a capital tastic. Gracilis was prancing in front of the mostly elf crowd when someone threw a snot, yes an entire snot, knocking the prancy dancer clean out. Before an official protest could be lodged the whistle blew and the match was on in earnest. The Steelers kick sailed deep down field and Brutia smashed the receiver, recovered the pill and ran in the opening TD.
Gracilis came back onto the pitch furious, and went about single-handedly dismantling the Smasher snotlings. The flicked snot had loosened one of his front teeth and Grace had to save face. A steady stream of TDs ensued with Brutia getting another two and Elleottii one upping him with a foursome! Jarrah must think that he is still playing for a contract as he killed Gristle Bashen, the Steelers lineys rolled the big fella on his side to clear his airway expecting an apothecary to come onto the pitch, but no robed figure arrived and the big boy was still at halfway for the next kick-off. The Steelers management have claimed the body saying it will be great fertiliser for the team tree who should be planted soon.
Honourable mention must go to Bobby, Coach Grimjaw was loudly cursing out his snotling players, often mouthing his famous “Snotlings no good at Bloodbowl” line when Bobby sailed over into the backfield and grabbed a rare try. The elf players appreciated his efforts and chaired the successful snot from the field at full time. Bobby said it felt good to be accepted by the pretty elves but no expect me to back that up in front of me team mates”…
Steelers win 9-1 in a BABBL record, but their next game is against tougher opposition in Orcus's Bandits and they will be missing Wyolensis. They have trained extra hard overnight so they fell ready for the match.

Steelers Humble the Humies
On a rainy evening at the Only Veraradah Dome, the rain was pelting down and deep puddles had developed on the ptich. The Steelers were in a gay mood and wearing their spiffiest rain coats and non slip leather gloves and booties. The Humans took one look at the prancy elves and declared war, only to be belted around the pitch in 16 turns of bloodbowl elf style.
As a last resort the humies took a chainsaw to the ptich but the sound of the panicked liney pulling on the starter chord got to the sensitive elfs and Bidwillii ran over the top of the humie, disposessing him of the chainsaw, which he promptly threw to the crowd, no deaths were reported and Bidwillii even signed the saw after the game for the lucky fan.
Star catcher Canariensis scored a record 3 TDs and then got so much attention off the crowd after his third that he decided to stay on the sideline for the last play and hold hands with some aspiring cheerleaders. Canarie was quoted the next morning "I got lucky last night, really lucky".
Steelers won the match 5-0 but the competition was better than it looks in the record books.
